The Department of Allergy and Clinical Immunology deals with allergic diseases and conditions related to the immune system.

Allergic diseases include asthma, rhinitis, anaphylaxis, gastrointestinal and skin allergies, and various reactions to drugs and food.

Allergy refers to an immune reaction to common substances around us, which are non-harmful (pets, pollen, food, medicine). The incidence of allergic diseases is rapidly increasing with the development of civilization and industrialization; therefore, the proper management of such diseases has recently become more important.
