The Department of Psychiatry helps you enjoy a happy life. Along with the body, the mind determines human health. A healthy mind is the fundamental strength for maintaining a healthy body and overcoming disease. Prejudiced beliefs denote that the Department of Psychiatry treats only mental disorders; however, it also provides various services for a healthy mind that can help people maintain a happy life. To live a more fulfilling and abundant life, one can avail the services of the Department of Psychiatry.

Currently, the Department of Psychiatry provides various treatments, such as psychotherapy, drug therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, group therapy, and electroconvulsive therapy. For customized treatment, we operate a pediatric psychiatric clinic and a dementia clinic to improve the quality of care and increase the satisfaction of patients and their families. We have facilities that can perform brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), electroencephalography (EEG), and positron emission tomography (PET) for a more accurate evaluation and diagnosis of diseases.

Moreover, it organizes mental health, medical science, and behavioral science education for medical students.
